legume native in Mexico.

Properties:

Use: as flour added to bread gives it a sweet nutty flavor, or used to make jam or wine. When used in baking, it is used in combination with other flours - replacing 1/4 cup flour - -1 / 2 cups mesquite for each cup or rice flour. It is used in breads, cakes, muffins, cakes and even cookies. It can be added to stir-fried vegetables, scrambled eggs, soups, and even ice cream.
